Made it out monday afternoon following a very heavy 2 hr rain Saturday and didnt do to bad for 3 hrs. That small purplish point is almost pristine but unfortunately it suffered a small break on one of the ears. Still beautiful either way! It took 15 minutes to find once I got on the creek and after I snapped some pics and took a video picking it up two STEPS later I found that black one. Not sure what point type they are but judging by my overstreet book found in ne Kansas I'm thinking the black one is a snyder's and the purple a hopewell. The forecast for Friday till next Thursday is nothing but rain and I'm super excited for it! Bring on the rain for us creek stompers and good luck out there!
