ID:	634806 Hello folks been awhile for me but got to go into what is the more promising spot at the L3 complex. I’ve drawn a picture of the layout before in previous posts to this site . I’m very excited because there is usually a large wet weather spring that runs through this site and is really to wet to dig properly. Well since our recent dry spell the spring dried up and so did the dirt besides the 1,5 “ rain yesterday that was quickly soaked up. The pause in the weather allowed me to go for a couple hour screen dig and I have to say I’m impressed with the initial dig . I dug a channel to reroute any water that will most definitely come when we get more rains. This will enable me to return to dry conditions no matter the weather. There’s some nice large overhangs and what looks like they just split in three house or apartment size boulders . I’ll definitely be hitting this spot hard when I have a chance and will post when I find some goodie’s. Sorry for being wordy . I found a large thin blade like triangular dart/spear point . A killer translucent bird , my dad helped me for 20 minutes and found a nice drill that’s broken. Added a small dart tip and some pottery shards. Will keep ya posted on next trip.

Ty . I’ve got a feeling there will be a cache found here . I’ve found lots of hard stone tool caches in these shelters but never a cache of points .

I won’t let you down and I don’t think this site will either . Knowing what I found on the other side , this has to be a killer area at the deeper portions . I’ll hit the 10-24” range and it will be Christmas all over again 😜. Atleast I hope it’s representative of the outside .

The little triangle could be a centerpiece in a frame. I enjoy the pictures of your dig just as much as the artifacts.

It’s a nice example of the type . Found those in every site so far . I’m sure there are variations based on what the flint was doing . Hope there’s a few of his cousins still in the dirt .

I wouldn't be able to sleep at night wondering what is under that rock. The blade base kinda has a paleo look.

It’s super thin . Hope there’s a tip to go with it . On the opposite/outside portion I was finding large triangles in the 8-12” range so I’m thinking it’s related. I’m just in the top 8” right now . Gonna peal back and expand my hole before I go deeper.

Hey SGT ... (LTC) here. You need any help??????? (humor) You're getting me excited to dig just looking at the place!! Nice having somewhere you can dig or search on your own property or others that will let you. I am blessed having an awesome creek that my farmer brother-in-law owns where I've found Paleo points, including a killer Clovis.
Hope you find many many killers.
