Wow, this is a cool thread for several reasons to me.
First off, one of the best Early Archaic corner notch knives I've seen shared here from East of the Mississippi, if not the best.
Second two of my favorite Senior typologist weighed in here being Sailor Joe and Clovisoid. I have thoughts about the types they suggested here, long story short, I think their both correct. Ha!

Whoa! Find of a lifetime for many! CONGRATS! Definitely early archaic. Agree with much that has already been said. I would call it a Lost Lake. But Definitely understand the argument for a dove tail. One thing is for sure.... a center piece. Happy for you!

I keep coming back, lol. I may have to agree with the consensus because of the excurvate base, and pointy barbs, a dovetail. But only if the base is heavily ground. May go another way otherwise. But who cares right? Wow.

Construction site find for new residential.....down in a bottom surrounded by a small river...... Definitely the best point I've found on a construction site......found it after a good rain.....I was shocked when I flipped it out of the ground
