I would highly recommend David J. Meltzer's 'First Peoples In A New World: Colonizing Ice Age America.' (2009)
Meltzer is an informative and creative writer with a wicked sense of humour. On Soltrean landfall in America... "Nowadays, few if any archaeologists--or, for that matter, geneticists, linguists, or physical anthropologists--take seriously the idea of a Solutrean colonization of America. However, it has achieved Internet immortality among believers in the lost Continent of Atlantis." p. 188. This statement made me spit my coffee out when I first read it.
