  • OVERSTREET #12

I got one of the first ones sold for Christmas! I opened it early. hehe. Now that is a great guide if any of you are thinking about getting one dont hesitate on it. They really out did themselves. It has great pictures and up to date prices. Some of the things I thought were worth alot arent and some I thought like scrapers as a little are worth more than some points I got. But the value to me is in my own eyes on some. Now the Pickwick I found is worth quite alot cause its a G9 all the way around, but is smaller than normal. I guess they resharpened it nown at least a inch. Well I sagest you get one.

The Overstreet is a a good addition to anyones collection but it has a lot of mistakes in it and these need to be corrected for it to be a spot on refrence. I understand they are working on it, but it takes time.
The new Dr. Thomas Hester -and- Dr. Sue Ellen Turner book on Texas Indian Points -and- Arrowheads has deleted some types and added new types based on new research it is ongoing.
When the facts change you change with the facts, so what is printed today may be wrong in the morning.
      Happy Holidays

I looked at the one you posted Andrew but that book is different from the one I got. Mine has 4 points across the top. I guess it is the same one just a different front cover than the one you show. Mine says OFFICIAL OVERSTREET Iden and Price Guide to Indian Arrowheads #12. Probally the same one. Either way it is still cool and I havent even hardly started it.
