'We are the champions' is an odd one for the times, Tam. I don't quite follow.

Not saying I don't like Queen, though.

I always thought Bohemian Rhapsody was a train wreck, but some people like train wrecks.

Well, looks like old sj is late to your party Matt. Great video from a band that I enjoyed very much "back in the day". I didn't know they were still together as a group and that all seem to be alive and kickin' and promoting a worthy cause, as well.

              • I've been trying to learn German, as a way to learn more about my ancestral roots, and I've come to like the old German folk songs, like Schwarzbraun ist die Haselnuss, and Ein Heller und ein Batzen. I still have yet to understand what they're saying without looking it up. :/

Wanna know the name of a very weird, very catchy and almost funny 1980s German song that literally became a meme? Search Moskau on YouTube.

                    • German drinking song, Ein Heller und ein Batzen, written in 1835. One of my favorites.

                          • Not sure where to start with this thread, growing up in western PA everyone loved Donnie Iris

We also listened to a lot of Journey

and of course plenty of AC/DC

Being a country boy we drank plenty of cheap beer listening to Steve Earle

                            Along with Hank Jr.

also gotta throw in a little Mel McDaniel

and finally some Oak Ridge Boys

                            Guess I better stop there...
