First off, I have no idea how to identify the age of these artifacts. While walking a cotton field in southwest Georgia, I picked these up along with 3 bags of flint. Wanted to know if someone could tell me what period they may be from?

II would call this one a Cottonbridge Middle archaic age. 5,000 years old give or take a thousand. Nice finds. The others look more like big flakes maybe a broke knife in the third picture.TN formerly CT Visit our store http://stores.arrowheads.com/store.p...m-Trading-Post

I'll chime in on the Lithic . I am in S.W Georgia
right now and where I find all my points .
The red is the Chert we have here that they sometimes call Jasper if enough iron is in it .
I find that yellow chert as well . There is a post under Lithics that have the name of that .
BTW what a nice find . I keep begging to walk a Cotton field with my gang ....
