Found this rock.not sure maybe painted

OK I found this rock n a creek here near Pittsburgh.ive never found a painted rock but this is strange.seems rounded I can't see any purpose tool wise.no real working but there are some what looks like drawings on one side.its like colored red W a black burnt looking outline just never seen anything like that.cant really make out what the drawing could be if it were.maybe a snake.other side is plain.any ideas

Normal rock, paint wouldn’t make it on a ancient stone in water

I believe the marks are actually just part of the rock and not man made....

I see what you think is paint . Chert I find that have that are mineral deposits . I know nothing about fossils but go to that link on this site and look at examples . Could be a fossil but like I said I know nothing unless it’s an obvious shell inprint .
