Wondering if this could be a drill? Found in Soujtgern Colorado

It's a broke tip.

The base is way thicker than any point I have found so I wondered.

The base is gone. This could have been thinned back down to where the base should be.

More than likely it was a sharpened down knife which are often called drills when they are that shape. Stone drills are rare though and you can only tell when the drilling leaves the tip worn smooth.

It's fairly smooth and definitely not real pointed or sharp. Just looks different than points I have found in the past. Thanks.
