I found this last week in a root ball of a tree on a neighbors property. He had a tree blow down, and being of the curious sort, I inspected the roots. This was sticking out. I think it is a scraper. I see (at least I think I do)signs of flaking. Any input?

Hey Ethan, I see that the stone has been worked. I don't know that it is a finished tool and I don't see a steep bevel that would indicate scraper.
