I found these 2 large worked stones last week. I put them up on a shelf and today I started wondering. Are these Kerrville Knives? I had never heard of them until 2 different things I found were identified as such. If not Kerrville Knives what do you think they were used for and how old are they likely to be from a crafting standpoint?

The first looks like a quarry blank possibly, there’s no finish work on it at all, it’s just been roughly bopped into shape, the second looks like a big choppercall me Jay, i live in R.I. -
I agree with what OnewiththewilD said. The first Edwards blank or core was probably the source of spalls that were used to knap Edwards points or tools.Michigan Yooper
