    Hi friends I found this today while out surface hunting. Very interested in possible age and use. It looks to have quite a bit of use along the edges. Thank y'all for your insight. I appreciate it very much.

        Could be a chipped adze. The edges almost look ground after manufacture. Or just heavily worn. let’s see better pics of what might possibly be the bit end?

                  The end looks like it has use wear. It is kind of beveled like an adze. That’s what it looks like to me.

                      I'm not being argumentative, you guys know a lot more about this than I do, but based on some of the other items he is finding I would lean towards preform.
