    Hello All,
    I’m in Texas. I’ve been told that I live near the Edwards plateau.
    I found this beside a wash that runs through the woods. It was in the ground about 6”.
    It has a very rough texture, almost sticky like a bone but it’s heavy like a rock. It looks kinda white on the outside and yellow underneath. Looks almost like a white mesh covering it.
    Does anyone have any ideas as to what, if anything, this could be?

    Looks like coral fossil. Horn coral? It's not in the greatest shape but can see the characteristics of it.

    Lophophyllidium...... Caninia?

      Maybe a fossil shell ? The yellow clay seems to be filled with other tiny fossils...
