    Looks like a crystal quartz bevel point, and it is called several names as to where you are located. Early Archaic point around 8,000 years old

          Quartz points are fairly common around me, but clear ones like that are rare....

            That's a wonderful find Dmozingo! Those early archaic artisans sure loved the crystal Quartz here in NC, especially the Palmer phase.

                Nice clear quartz point!!! There is a lot of quartz here in NC but it doesn’t stand up to a plow as well as rhyolite. Clear ones are pretty rare.

                  Real neat find and hard to come by. I've logged a lot of miles and have only found four crystals. congrats

                    A great description. You see a lot of hair splitting between Palmer, Charleston, Pinetree, etc. names, but they are all basically the same thing with differing degrees of resharpening.
