Your the expert now in your area !! With the mutitiude of finds in the past weeks I want you to give us a report lol .
Its similar to your finds but might be unique in form /style to the area .
For example a woodland camp I hunt has these funny half moon scrappers that resemble a crescent but that’s not our area .I have come to the conclusion that it is something that worked in that particular camp and they kept producing them.
This may be the case in your find here . .

I’ve found a better one last year but wasn’t sure cause this one is like a Green Stone material and a little different. I found it in the creek and left it on the bank then looked after it dried. They always look different when wet

I shot a pic to someone who finds a lot of them and he said either hoe or shovel. I didn’t know they had shovels

I think you've found a hoe blade - one side of one end is absolutely polished from use. Good find!

If the women don\'t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks Red by the looks of the other side to me it looks like it might of gotten damaged while it was in the haft and probably tossed due to the fracture

I have a few like that also. The material looks the same . To me, my pieces seem like something between shale and slate. Makes me wonder how they worked this material . Glad you were able to get out and hunt today!

I’d like to see yours some time. I have another I found last year out there. I have also found a hematite Celt. Still trying to figure out where the campsite is might be 2

Thats a whopper hoe. I would think twice about bringing it home also, just because of the size. I have towed some pretty big nutting stones home. Cool find.
