Rocks or tools? What do you think? Are they dark from human use or fire? Thanks!

At one point, there was definitely a creek since I saw lots of cobble stones-large and small. Think they are just well polished river rocks? Thanks.

Welcome Jesse! Where were these found? State and county or part of state help. Agree with them being natural. Keep on looking though.

Thanks! Glad to have a place to see cool finds, and I'll know where to go if I ever find anything. Here in ca, its very illegal to pick up artifacts, but these were "rescued" from a debris pile on a construction site of an old park. Glad to know they are just rocks and not important cultural artifacts because that would mean the relevant site is now under 5+ feet of concrete. These were found in northern california on a walk home when I was in high school.

Edit: I guess this can go to the "rocks that look like artifacts" thread. haha
