  • From the Columbia River

My great grandfather found these along the Columbia River in Oregon when he was a boy. Not too sure whereabouts in Oregon though . By the time I came along the whole family lived in California. So anyways a few years ago he passed and these came in a box along with a bunch of others that were damaged. So am really curious about their origin. I am sorry the pictures not that great. I could have my son come and take some better pictures if need be. Thanks for reading.

They sound cool, but the pictures are not showing up. They are not there.

Sorry, I’m still trying to put my teeth back in my head.

man, those big obsidian pieces are beautiful, but there are no slouches in that group. I love that spatulate shaped drill.
            Thanks for sharing.

it's hard to imagine that each one probably took hours or days to make. Does anyone have any idea what tribes made these things? I suspect the big ones were made for some kind of Spear instead of Arrow. Is there any pics out there of the way these things were actually tied on to the wood? Thanks again everybody for the comments
