Small hammer Stone?

Found this in the woods. I also found a small mold fossil in the same area.
Just wondering if it’s a rock with wear on it or possibly a small hammer Stone. The bottom shows circular ware and the middle of the circle has virtually none.
It’s 2” tall, 1.75” wide and 1” deep.
Any thoughts would be appreciated,

Could be . Think of a persons tool box . Different tools in all sizes . Are those abrading lines on the side . That would ace it .

Just a rock looks like sandstone a sedimentary rock.
