  • Found on top of a creek bed where we always find things after big rains.

This was in Chase County KS in a very remote creek only we have access too. About 3.5-4 inches long. I am still new to artifacts, but it is beveled out on both sides at the base which I find interesting. I also have three other broken pieces found the same day that I would love info on as well. We do not find as much red flint in our area so the broke ntip and the other knife? were interesting.

The one in the middle is maybe a Snyder, and very nice example at that.
the one on the left looks like a broken knife, and the one on the right looks like a scraper, maybe?
Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

Thanks, for some reason, the four pics of the three broken pieces posted first. I'm more interested in knowing about the larger piece that is the last four pictures! Thanks for the snyder possible ID though.

The grey one could be a few things. Blade, knife. Now the type I really couldn’t say cause I’m not from your area but it’s a keeper. Being new to this it would be nice to know if the base is ground down but it’s hard to tell sometimes if you’re new to the finding
