          Looks a little thick for a dalton. Might consider a nebo hill ? Find quite a few in se IA. Nice find.

          Looked thick. The nebos have a triangular thickness profile where the daltons are a lot flatter

          What a great blade . I think old rocks is your Wikipedia here on the info . What about that nice Big Sandy or what ever you call them in you area . That’s an oldie which would help to date your area finds as well .

            Sedalia point type part of the nebo hill cluster I would say Oldrocks nailed it.
            Look to the ground for it holds the past!

              Here is my best nebo. Yours isn't as wide but may be due to sharpening. Usually they have the widest part about 1/2 way up.
