  • North Texas, Ellis? Age?

Hello everyone! After searching for almost 10 years, I have finally found my first point!!! Excuse my newbieness. Would like a confirmation if this is an “Ellis” point, and if there is an age that can be guessed. Found near a large lake in North Texas, Denton County.
Thank you for any and all knowledge and expertise !

Looks like an Ellis to me. It was produced from archaic to woodland period between 1700-3800 years ago. Cool find!

That’s a long wait for your 1st find I always assumed the artifact finding in Texas was large. Go look in some creeks and Rivers I’ve seen plenty of finds from those areas. Nice find
