  • Golden Shimmering Arrowhead

I inherited a number of arrowheads. They came from western Connecticut and upstate New York along the Hudson River. Sorting through the collection I noticed one of them had a golden shimmer to it. The entire surface is covered and shines in the sun. Getting good pictures has been a challenge. The arrowhead is 2” long and 1 ¼” wide. Can anyone tell me what type of stone this might be?

Nice looking points. The type in my opinion are Normanskill which date to the middle archaic. That first photo looks to me like it has traces of iron in the chert.
