  • A few items I found today




    Went out for 90 minutes today. Central KY. Field right on the KY River. Items are in the video. Any ideas/comments appreciated. Thanks!

      I would say a scraper on one and the tip of some point on the other. First two are natural

        Good finds. I like that rise where the hay is would’ve been a good camp area. Maybe that one is a turkey tail it also looked like a fresh break unless I’m seeing things . Is it a brown color flint and is that white patina?

          To the left of the haybales just as the hill drops away is where we've found a MacCorkle, Big Sandy, Madison, lots of flint, a grinding stone and several tools. Only been there 4 or 5 times for 2/3 hour walks. The break on the turkey tail looking point is the same color as the point, slate grey/white color. Same patina

          It’s possible that stone with holes although naturally formed it could have been use to crack a few nuts/pecans . Here’s a pic of nutting stones I pulled . It wouldn’t have held up to much abuse though.
