have you looked at the surface of that rock with a magnifying glass? if it was polished by man it would show signs of it being rubbed. Usually not one direction but it would be multi directional. If you have any broken or whole hard stone artifacts or slate artifacts you will see the same type of abrasion on it.

I’ve not looked at it like that though I don’t really know what it is. Everything on it looks old .
