      Welcome to the site.
      Are you sure it's ancient pottery? Looks like maybe stone and possibly what might be left of a large mortar? Hard to tell from the pics what it is.

          Very cool find ...I don’t think it’s N/A pottery, I have never seen any with a round smooth edge like that.
