I've found pottery sherds many times where I look while taking mountain biking breaks near a creek in northwest Georgia. But, this is this first time I've found an intact base of some kind of pottery with stamping and that was pretty darn exciting for me considering I thought it was a rock!

Sorry Cecilia, but don't use Duco, Elmer's glue is water soluble, so if you need to reposition a piece you can soak it and re-attach it. I agree it could be a complete Bowel with rim damage. KimKnowledge is about how and where to find more Knowledge. Snyder County Pa.

Sorry, Kim, but I follow (or I would, if had an ancient pot to reconstruct, which I don’t) Master Hal’s recipe of duco, Elmer’s, acetone. I learned from him that straight Elmer’s turns yellow after time. But again, alas, I have no personal finds needing fixing....I can only dream!Last edited by Cecilia; 01-25-2021, 12:05 PM.
