  • Texas beauty

    I found this monster today in Southeast Texas in a river bed. It is just shy of 5 inches. I’m wondering if anyone can help with the type and age. Thanks!

        Its is a Delhi and a very nice one. 3000ish years old. The more sought after variety has a slightly concave base. These are generally very well made. I'm right up the road. Congrats.

                The material looks like a classic san Jacinto river cobble. It generally looks amazing when back lighted.

                            Someone bumped this old thread and I see a beautiful Bulverde. Then I see where I called it a Delhi back then. I don't remember posting that but it is a Bulverde.
