I found this point in Denton county Texas as well. It is nicely made IMHO. I found it about 100 yards from where I found most of the other points. It is two inches in length. All information welcome!

Just trying to learn so this just a guess. The base seems like an adena. The ears seem a little more pronounced then most of the ones I've seen, but some do have ears like that. Small area of TX they maybe in.
Hope others will chime in that really know what they are talking about.

Could be a langtry arenosa . Sorry guys adena culture was not that far south or west. The adena people were upper midwest, east of the Mississippi river. The point does share attributes of adena .TN formerly CT Visit our store http://stores.arrowheads.com/store.p...m-Trading-Post

I agree with it being a Gary. I bought a similar point out of Cobbs. County GA. I believe. It's called a Cypress Creek Practically the same point. KimKnowledge is about how and where to find more Knowledge. Snyder County Pa.
