It’s similar to petrified palm wood specimens that I’ve found. There’s lots of petrified wood materials that contain many colors and patterns similar to this specimen that I’ve found and collected in East Texas. If not PW what are you thinking 🤔 ? There are gravels in East Texas that have lots o f colors

It's a hit of an oddball. May be a Cupp but I suspect it's an early archaic type. It us made of heat treated river cobble. We find it in the san Jacinto river. I would like to see other east tx points you have found. I'm in Houston Co

Anyway , that’s a Palmer dart. Very early archaic . Sgt. Digger is correct on pet palm wood. Great eye !
