I found this months ago and assumed it was some figure that they worked on and broke possibly during manufacture. Maybe something dad made for the kids to play with ,kinda like we played with toy soldiers/cowboys and Indians plastic figurines ect . π. From my perspective it looks like the beak/nose area broke off . Itβs a medium hard sand stone.

Itβs presence inside the shelter had me thinking it was of some possible interest to the natives as to what it may be will never know . Unless I find another one that has been completed Iβll never know what intent it might have had. If it was part of a hearth stone that fractured from fire I wouldnβt expect it to have such rounded edgeβs . Possibly a ROI (rock of interest) that tumbled around in the creek and was brought back to camp .l
