    Me and my husband stoped at a creek down from our house for the first time and he found this rock. Not sure if its anything but cool.

    I'm with you. Cool rock but I'm not from an area that has those types of artifacts, so I couldn't tell you if you have anything or not. Welcome to the board.

      Not positive on the id but it appears to be a nut cracker...
      BTW: If you are known as "Sunflower"
      Take a look at the thread of "Temple Show" in the section of shows.
      Got some real nice ones growing here in Texas right now.

        That looks like a natural rock that had several iron inclusions that rusted out over thousands of years. It does not appear to be worked or used by man. Cool rock though!
