That’s because I haven’t shown it before. Most of these were found in the same creek as my July 2021 find

The best Dalton I ever found is the one I use as my avatar. I showed it once in another thread someone started about Daltons.

The best Clovis I found is probably the "mother" of all heartbreakers. If the tip were there it would probably measured a bit over 4 inches long and perfectly symmetrical and quite thin for a Clovis that long and with long flutes on both sides.

These are my best oldies with the exception of the Dalton crafted from bone by a varmint lol. The Clovis is around 4 1/2” . The Browns valley, Dalton, Hells Gap, and agate basin were all found the same week in 2018. Chicot county Arkansas

Banded point on the left has that Hardaway Dalton feet on the non knicked foot. Some call Alamance? Fits perfectly in the hand.

The two lower points are super dandies and look Paleo to me. I don't recognize the top 2. What type are they and what area of the country are your hunting grounds located.

No doubt they are on my second site I like to hunt. Was able to see an old collection someone had of a nearby location found when the property was still a farm. Lots of Lecroys and early archaic stuff. If that's there then the slightly older stuff is too. Just have to find it.

It is a super dandy beautiful point but It's not a Dalton and does not look Paleo to me although the transverse flaking on this side makes it look like a really old type. What type are you calling it? I don't know where your hunting grounds are located but if I found it on my old hunting grounds I would probably call it a Benton, a Middle Archaic type.

Hard to post these after Gar but here are a couple of Eastern Daltons I’ve found over the years. One on the right would of been really nice if whole. Found both halves in a field on 2 different trips Click image for larger version
