What I have found. The one in hand was 1951, the 3-5/8 was 78 and the clunkers were 91 and 08. Have a few T-Paleo but not Daltons That's all folks.

See, it's turning out to be a pretty good thread!! Post the Paleos up it's no contest now LOL. I've been hunting and collecting for a looong time and only have a few paleopooters and paleopieces... all of which I am thrilled with. Square knife found in association with Suwannee points. Hillsborough Co., FL "Langshire"

Wow!..That’s a sweet over the top one, cool finding it in the SF...so it’s a Santa Fe Dalton, right.

Not a bad idea, but in my opinion it would just be a "mine is better than yours". I have full faith in our members that that kind of behavior won't happen here, but it's something to consider.

Paleo and Dalton contest
I know we have a contest each month for recent finds. But some guys can’t get out to look anymore like Hal and Oldrocks. I think it would be nice to have a contest where some can enter a past find maybe your best ever. I could enter one I have but it wouldn’t win against some I believe a few people have. Might be a really good looking thread to. Just an idea to let some of the others have a chance to win. Of course it would be on the word of the posters that it’s a actual personal find and not a purchase.Tags: None
