My membership appears to have disappeared again. I'm in AZ instead of home in PA but I'm using the same computer. When I checked in last night, I saw that I had 1 post. When I came in today, Den Socling and dr socling was gone. Any ideas?

I see your dr socling persona is still in the members section...at least that one. The one with the wood carving for an avatar.. I didn't look too deeply in the 70+ pages of names that start with "D"...

are you sure sure you are doing this right? I'm no tech guy, and failure is usually my modus operandi, so I just log in on my iPad or phone and stay logged in.

Like Jethro I stay logged in. If you are logging in successfully and can't find your most recent post(s), it's because you were likely the last person to comment on that link. Click on your user name & a drop down box will appear. Click on most recent topics & your old postings should appear.

My thoughts are "user error". You are the only person this is happening to! Only one person in thousands??? Nothing I can do for you except to say try dumping your cache. Are you running chrome browser? try Firefox or Edge. If you are running one of those already then try chrome instead. This has to be something on your end causing this.

Another thing you claim your membership has disappeared???? What does that mean exactly? do you actually see the login box upper right when you come to the page? Are you tring to get in via an old saved page or are you opening the forum anew when you try to log in?

OK. I'm using Chrome but I can switch to another browser. I haven't stayed logged in but I can do that except when I'm travelling.

Now what do I mean by disappeared? When I connect to the forum, I get the screen that ask me if I would like to register. And that registration is required before making a post. Then I register again with a different name and password and I'm able to start threads like this one.

I realize the problem couldn't be solely at your end or the forum couldn't stay together. On the other hand, I don't see what's wrong at this end. Some combination? I just don't know. I have Firefox on this computer. I'll try that.

              Thanks again.

I just disconnected and reconnected. I came in as Richard Socling. Is that from a cookie? Why wouldn't I come up as Den Socling or dr socling? I'm in AZ and my son who could help is home in PA.

So when you look at the main page prior to logging in do you see the words login or signup in the upper right? If yes does it automatically go to the registration page when you click it? Or do you not see that at all and when you come here you just get the registration page first?

If you type Forums.arrowheads.com into the address bar on Chrome it should bring you to a page that looks just like this at the top. I just took this screen shot and the pictures will change as people post but that header will always look just like that. Click image for larger version

Sorry but I have been out for a couple hours. And Hoss, I think you discovered my stupid mistake. When I connect, I see the page above. My eyes went straight to "register" and not to "log in" that is in the top right corner. I have been clicking on register and it takes me straight to the registration page. Let me see if I can straighten this out now that I'm registered 3 darn times!!

Disconnected and reconnected and neither the box with "register" nor the command to "log in" were on the first page. It went straight into the forum like I remember it doing way back when I was Den Socling.
