Yes the return key worked for me too. The other concern is you have to keep lowering the keyboard to see what others are saying about you. LOL Just kidding they might not be sayng anything about you!

I have an iPad 4. Like the mini, it uses Safari. I put chrome on it as well. Ray, like Butch suggested, the return key should work for chat.
Enjoy your tablets, folks! I think the tablets all have regular keyboard that attach as well, if touch screen is not something you can get used to.

I use the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and I'm very pleased with it. All the pics I post are from my tablet, matter of fact it's what I mostly use now instead of a laptop or desktop PC... "D"
