Abasolo
Description:
A medium to large size, broad, lanceolate point with a rounded base. The blade can be beveled on one side of each face and the base can be thinned. Described by Suhm , Krieger and Jelks 1954, Tortugas are counterpart to Abasolo however Tortugas have a straight base. Some may have been used as dart points . Larger specimens are thought to be hand held knife forms.
