Waubesa projectile points/ knives are medium to large points that are generally thin and well made. They have contracting stems that are rounded or pointed. Blades can be convex to recurved. Shoulders are squared to barbed. This type is diagnostic of the Woodland period 2,500-1,500, and are thought to be associated with the Hopewell culture. The type site is the Blackhawk village site (Da5) on Waubesa lake, Dane co. Wisconsin.

This example was found in Obion co. Tn
