Wheeler Recurvate

Wheeler Recurvates are small to medium sized. These lanceollate points have recurvate blade edges. The bases are usually deeply concave and have steep basal edges. They are commonly unground on the base. Rarely some examples are fluted.
Wheeler Recurvate is diagnostic of the Transitional Paleo period 10,000-8,000. The type site is the Stone Pipe site, Wheeler valley, Limestone co. Alabama.
