Garden Creek as defined by Bennie C. Keel from Cherokee Archaeology: It is a long, narrow, concave-based isosceles triangle usually made of quartzite. Size: (1) Length: Range 31-68mm (2) Width: Range 21-29mm (3) Thickness: Range 5-10 mm. (4) Depth of basil concatity: Range 3-5.5 mm. This type is concidered to belong to the late Pigeon and early Connestee periods. Age 2,200-1,800 BP. Found last weekend in Western North Carolina.
