    The Sedalia is a Late Archaic large, thick, lanceolate form dating between 2500 B.C. and 1500 B.C. It has convex sides and a straight to slightly convex base. The widest part is from the center to upper one third of the point. Flaking is primarily percussion with some edge retouch. Distribution is Missouri and Illinois.

    Location : Midwestern states.
    Shape : Lanceolate
    Description:
    A medium to large size, narrow, lanceolate blade with straight to convex sides and base. Flaking is usually cruder than in Agate Basin. Believed to have evolved from the Nebo Hill type.
