  • Lamoka

    Lamoka points appeared in the Late Archaic and persisted well into the Woodland Era. They can be both side notched or stemmed. The side notch variety often exhibits a bulbous expansion of the base. Here is the description from Ritchie's NY typology and note the 2 illustrations on his page show an example of each form:
