    Greene points were first described by Robert Funk. They are Middle Woodland Period points that are lanceolate with contracting stems, some show very weak shoulders. Some tend toward ovate blades more then lanceolate. Bases are straight or convex. Often large in size and often found in association with Fox Creek points on the same site.     Two examples from coastal Rhode Island, felsite and argillite(argillaceous slate). Argillite example displays a very slight shoulder:
