Blade edges generally straight but sometimes convex. Blade will exhibit large percussion flake scars with finer edge chipping resulting in a tabular (flattened) blade. Barbs can be prominent but less so on resharpened examples. Base is usually fan shaped but can occasionally be straight. Grinding on the base is slight or absent altogether. This is a corner notched point and size varies from 1.5" to 4". Often made from high quality flints such as Flint Ridge, Upper Mercer and occasionally Onondaga. Age approximate is 100 BC - AD 500.
