Shape : Medium to Large Sized Bifurcate
A medium to large size, bifurcated point found in the central and lower Pecos region of Texas. Named by Charles Kelley 1947. These are made from a thin triangular preform. The ears are usually squared and some examples are beveled on one side. Blade edges can be straight, slightly conave or slightly convex. The stem form is short and broad and has a V or U shaped notch. Examples with the very deep notch and exagerated basal lobes are refered to as "buck tooth" form.
