Small Notched Net Weights: Northern California

The ten small notched net weights were recovered in Northern California. Native Americans collected smooth water worn stones that were rather flat and simply broke a notch into opposite edges of the stone.

Net Weight 1: Measures 2 5/8 X 1 7/8 X 1 inch and weighs 4.45 Ounces.

Net Weight 2: Measures 2 ½ X 2 ¼ X 7/8 inch and weighs 4.32 Ounces.

Net Weight 3: Measures 2 ¾ X 1 7/8 X ¾ inch and weighs 3.73 Ounces.

Net Weight 4: Measures 2 5/8 X 2 ¼ X ¾ inch and weighs 3.67 Ounces.

Net Weight 5: Measures 3 1/8 X 1 3/4 X ¾ inch and weighs 3.65 Ounces.

Net Weight 7: Measures 2 7/8 X 2 3/8 X 5/8 inch and weighs 3.59 Ounces.

Net Weight 9: Measures 2 7/8 X 2 1/8 X 7/8 inch and weighs 3.23 Ounces.
