    Outcrops in Hardin and Hart counties in central Kentucky and found as nodules.
    Color can be dark grey to a dark bluish grey sometimes with cream, pink, orange and red banding.
    A vitreous to waxy luster and has good knappability except for pieces with geode, iron sand grain and or fossil inclusions.
