Tennessee Hunting?

Going down to stay with family over holidays in middle TN. Going to do some surface hunting down there. Anyone have any suggestions on how and where to hunt down there. I'm used to the flat open fields around here so not sure what to look for in TN. Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance.

David I grew up in east tennessee but did not hunt artifacts then. I am like you im used to the open fields or creeks -and- rivers of kansas. I would say apply how you hunt to anywhere you go. To me that would give me peace of mind I gave it my best shot. Good hunting!
