While I couldn’t read you entire post, I think I got the gist of it.

    1)anywhere you can gain access.
    2) that creek bed, if it ever gets low enough to see gravel bars.
    3) High ground on the inside bends of the creek.
    4) literally any patch of bare ground
Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

      Welcome Tim.
Jethro gave you good advice. With permission worth checking out much of that area around the creek and areas don't have to be right next to the creek. Keep an eye out for flakes, fire cracked rock, those are usually your first indicators you are in the right area. Remember, you may not find something first time out, give it 2 or 3 trips.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I needed. I got down to the creek bed and was frustrated. So many rocks but some odd looking flint pieces that looked like potentially chipped on purpose. Thank you sooo much

Keep after it. You may not find anything for a trip or three, then stumble on a few good ones in a short excursion.
          Keep us posted.👍👍
