I am looking to buy a (used) 1940's military style pick or something similar. Would appreciate a heads up. Thanks

Somewhat. The one I am interested in has a longer, sharper stinger on it. Most of them have been altered and re-tempered. For the price on that one though, it might be worth getting, but then I have to find someone to grind it and re-temper it so it won't bend when I hit a rock. Thanks, I'm going to see if I can find someone that can do the metal work for me!!! This is probably the best one I've seen for my use. I like the bigger ones but they really wear me out. This one looks like it's just right for Goldilocks!!

Go on Youtube and look up a guy called Creekdalton he makes and sells a pick called a wigglepick and the guys digging on there just love it. Lots of the guys I watch that dig have one. Don't think they to cheap though. Richardrockhouse is another guy who uses it alot.
