    Thought this might be a fun way to share tips with each other…many may be familiar with the word game Mad Libs, where one fills in the blank to finish a story.

      I have found several points on a "Paleo" beach that are made of what we call "Bridhsit" chert LOL because it looks like that laying out on the sand/beach hahahahaha

    Been flipping pointy leaves a long time , of course the old eyes aren't as sharp as they once we're, ever once in awhile the pointy leaf turns out to be flint

      then once in a while you poke a flake and it turns out to be one of my favorite little arrowheads.

        Broken black shale. Unfortunately it's everywhere where I hunt. Fractures into triangular shaped pieces.

          sometimes find small lumps of coal in fields back in CT. dumped by farmers in bygone days. it looks like flint but when you pick it up it is lighter.
